The mechanical condition is very good everything works as designed. Per the last owner (an optician), "The condition of the mirror and the collector are very good with no signs of defects they are very clean with little or no signs of dust. The serial number is P-7-324-S-DP, meaning the primary mirror is made of Pyrex, the reflectors are silver and the coatings are MgFl. What isn't included: the tabletop legs (I purchased it from the last owner without them) and a solar filter. What's included: The OTA, mount, and dewshield, the electrical cord, 5 Vernonscope eyepieces (8, 12, 16, 24 and 32mm), a 2 inch Orion diagonal (with 1.25 inch adapter), two custom wood boxes for carrying/shipping (they have handles and locking lids), and a Questar 7 operation manual purchased a little over three years ago.
